Kharar Station House Officer (SHO) Inspector Bhagwant Singh said Arun Sharma died on Saturday morning and his body was handed over to the family after post-mortem, which was conducted at Kharar Civil Hospital.

Doctors say it is too early to know the long-term impact of Covid-19; fatigue and weakness, among others, are common complaints of patients who have recovered.

A total of 2,952 patients have been cured so far.

The district now has 5,106 positive cases with 2,358 active cases.

Meanwhile, as many as 172 people tested positive for the disease in the district. The total number of positive cases reached 4,667, with 2,146 active cases at present.

The orders stated that shops/malls will remain open till 6:30 pm and will be closed on weekends while those dealing in essential commodities will operate till 6:30 pm daily.

The court orders further stated that in the case in hand, custodial interrogation of Saini is required to search the dead body of victim Balwant Singh Multani, to know the manner in which the body was disposed of and weapon of offence used in committing the crime.

The morning shift was from 9 am to 12 noon. The evening shift was between 3 pm and 6 pm. Computers along with seats of every aspirant were placed at a distance of at least 4 feet from each other.

Among the new cases, 19 were reported from Mani Majra, while four were reported from the PGIMER campus. In Mauli Jagran 13 tested positive for coronavirus, with seven cases reported from Dhanas and rest from across Chandigarh.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Girish Dayalan said plasma therapy was being extended to the Covid-19 patients who are advised so by the doctors. With the increasing number of patients, it was necessary to have adequate plasma supply.
