The first flight of Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) landed at Punjab's Mohali airport on Friday as part of Air India’s overseas evacuation plan amid the Coronavirus crisis across the globe. Around 67 NRIs landed here and they would be quarantined at the respective districts they belong to. Medical screening for each person has been carried out and airport authorities along with the security personnel have actively carried out other safety measures.
