The main conspirator and mastermind behind the Patiala violence, Barjinder Singh Parwana was arrested police in Mohali on Sunday morning. He arrived at 7:20 am in Mohali from Mumbai on a Vistara flight. The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Patiala team headed by Inspector Sharminder Singh arrested him at the Mohali airport. In a press conference conducted on Monday, Inspector General Mukhwinder Singh Chhina said that 20 teams have been constituted to arrest the accused. He added that along with Barjinder, two others have also been arrested and will be questioned in custody.
